INTUITION

So, I read, “live intelligently and be smart about your life”. And next is the intuition that came to me.

Man is more than his body. Man is beyond his mind. Mind and body together constitute a parcel of our existence. So what is man? Man is just this. Try a whole day of continuous silence observing your thoughts. This is meditation. And it will certainly reveal some unknown aspect of your true nature. In happiness I am always bound to find the trace of the oncoming sadness. Frustration is the absence of peace of mind to see a clear path for life. So what is beyond happiness and frustration? It might well be life. Joy and bliss are beyond the realms of sensations.

One might reproduce his bliss by each time enacting the steps which he took to obtain that sensation in the first place. But soon he finds that source to be exhausted. Because unlike natural joy, the reproduced feeling is aligned with our mind. So every time, that same sensation, that same experience, reproduced in the mind, looses its potency, its bliss. Yet, after a pause, after a rest, we again pursue the memory of that experience. Is it not the truth?

Rather, living new experiences, and allowing yourself to grow in ubounded directions is the path to permanent bliss. How can you stop with your mind what your whole being wants? Growing is experiencing. Experiencing is dropping preconceptions, prejudices and the clutter of the mind. The mind might guide, but intelligence is where knowledge resides. And knowledge is bliss. Discovering intelligence requires detachment from the mind. So after all, I desire true intelligence to win over my whole self. And intelligence is not my possession, as one has to recognize even his body abunds with life which is not his own, and is not owned by anyone. Not even by our minds. This is yoga.

So I read, “be blissful through reflection - meditation - and a sound body-mind - yoga”.
